Welcome to another chapter of the Canned Heat journey!
Walter De Paduwa (Dr. Boogie) and myself again offer our public a collection of memorable performances and interesting musical items from the greatest boogie band ever: Live and studio recordings from 1969 to 1999 including commercials, funny bits, Alan Wilson's last recordings and performances of different line-ups from the 70s, 80s and 90s, featuring some of the most talented blues musicians from those times that have been part of the Canned Heat family.
After releasing the first Boogie House Tapes, we never expected to be able to put together another collection of music like that, but with some luck, help from our fans and digging into our old archives, we have not only achieved it, but surpassed it. I do believe that this collection is even better than the original release.
The CDs will rock you and make you feel the blues like never before!
We want to thank Thomas Ruf for sticking with us and estimulating the idea of releasing The Boogie House Tapes Vol. 2. And most of all, we want to thank all the Canned Heat fans that have kept their interest in this band, after all the tragedies, loss and different line-ups we have had during this 38 years of existence.
You all have been there to boogie with us – and we will continue to boogie for you as long as we can!
