The material on this recording is mostly American music classics. Except for "Blind Love", the Nighthawks haven't included any tunes from the Trouble sessions. These are songs people ask for. They are classics because they have survived many interpretations. They have proved durable with countless audiences, and they are big fun to play. Invite your friends over and turn it up load! With few exceptions, the Nighthawks have fared better with live rather than studio recordings. Most producers, the band itself included, have failed to capture the essence of the Nighthawks' popularity. With Rock This House, they have succeeded.
